PENERAPAN PEWARNA ALAMI BIJI ALPUKAT PADA KAIN KATUN

چکیده

ABSTRAKBiji alpukat dapat diekstrak menjadi zat warna alam karena mengandung senyawa tanin yang menimbulkan cokelat atau kecokelatan. Kelemahan dalam proses pewarnaan tekstil yakni memiliki ketahanan luntur rendah. Oleh itu, pada pencelupan bahan dengan dibutuhkan fiksasi agar baik. Pewarna alami dari biji telah diterapkan kain katun. Ketahanan pewarna diuji memvariasikan massa tawas sebagai terhadap nilai perubahan intensitas cahaya air residu hasil pencucian Perlakuan menggunakan variasi 10g hingga 60g waktu selama 10 menit. Desain penelitian terdiri ekstraksi sumber alam, mordanting dan katun ke larutan warna, katun, pengujian luxmeter setelah biasa deterjen. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sampel menghasilkan tingkat kelunturan paling kecil 9,58lux 3,11lux Semakin tinggi digunakan maka semakin Penggunaan efektif menjaga Kata kunci: Biji Alpukat; Kain Katun; Alami; Tawas.
